We reached the grave where 395 people are buried, some of them my relations. I just laid by the grave and cried and cried. I had a little Bible with me and said Kaddish, because I knew for sure that nobody had said Kaddish there. I kept of thinking that if my dear father had not taken us out from that village in 1936, my mother, father, brothers and sisters would have been here. I had with me a little bag which I filled with sand and stones from the grave, at my cousin's request, to be buried with sand from the grave of his parents, brothers and sisters. I put flowers on the grave and a note on behalf of my family and myself and, of course, of my cousin in Israel. We said good-bye and may you all rest in peace.
